Contact Lens Wearers

Contact lenses actually change the curvature of your cornea to a certain degree, and in order to receive accurate readings, contact lenses need to be removed for certain periods of time before your consultation appointment.

Soft contacts must be removed two weeks before your consultation appointment, and hard contacts must be removed one month before your consultation appointment.

It is crucial that your eyes are in their most natural shape as possible on the day of the surgical procedure. If you have a high correction, we can also tailor your assessment to your specific needs (ie, one eye at a time). Please contact our office for details.
